Manufacturer Warranties
Modterra Home does not manufacture lighting products directly. Any warranty coverage is provided by the manufacturer or supplier of the item. Because of this, warranty terms, duration, and coverage can differ from one product to another.
When a product includes a manufacturer warranty, it typically applies to defects in:
- Workmanship
- Materials
- Structural integrity of the fixture
- Standard mechanical or functional components (where applicable)
Warranty details may appear on the product page, inside the product packaging, or may be available upon request.
What Is Not Covered
Unless explicitly stated by the manufacturer, warranties typically do not cover:
- Normal wear and tear
- Accidental damage
- Improper use or misuse
- Incorrect installation, mounting, wiring, or assembly
- Damage caused by power surges, improper voltage, or incompatible dimmers (when applicable)
- Failure to follow the manufacturer’s care, installation, or safety instructions
- Unauthorized repairs, alterations, or modifications
- Cosmetic variations or minor finish differences that do not affect function
- Commercial, rental, or high-intensity use unless specifically stated as covered
Some lighting products may naturally show minor finish variation between production batches. These variations are not typically considered defects.
How to Request Warranty Support
If you believe your item has a warranty-related issue, please notify us as soon as possible so we can help you work with the manufacturer or supplier.
When you contact us, please include:
- Your order number
- Clear photos or videos of the issue
- A brief description of the problem
- The date you first noticed the issue
- Any relevant installation context (for example: mounted location, bulb type, dimmer type, or power details when applicable)

Our team will help determine whether a manufacturer warranty applies and the appropriate next steps. Depending on the manufacturer’s guidelines, resolution may include replacement parts, repair guidance, or a replacement at the manufacturer’s discretion.
Limitations of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Modterra Home is not responsible for warranty decisions made by manufacturers or suppliers, including approvals, denials, or processing timelines.
Modterra Home shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the purchase, use, or inability to use any product, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our role is to assist with the warranty support process and help ensure the manufacturer receives clear information.
