While we stand behind the quality of every piece we offer, warranty coverage varies based on the manufacturer, product type, and materials involved. This Warranty Disclaimer explains how warranties work, what coverage you may receive, and how to request support.

Manufacturer Warranties

Modterra Home does not manufacture products directly. All warranties, when available, are provided by the original manufacturer or supplier. Because of this, the terms, duration, and coverage may differ from one product to another.

When a product includes a manufacturer warranty, it will typically address defects in:

  • Workmanship
  • Materials
  • Structural integrity
  • Standard mechanical or functional components

Warranty details may appear on the product page, inside the product packaging, or may be available upon request.

What Is Not Covered

Unless explicitly stated by the manufacturer, warranties usually do not cover:

  • Incorrect assembly or installation
  • Misuse, abuse, or neglect
  • Changes caused by humidity, sunlight, temperature, or environmental conditions

Many materials, such as wood, fabric, and leather, naturally vary in color, grain, and texture. These variations are not considered defects and are generally not covered under warranty.

  • The date you first noticed the issue

Limitations of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Modterra Home is not responsible for decisions made by manufacturers or suppliers regarding warranty claims, nor for delays or denials that may occur during their review process.

Modterra Home shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the purchase, use, or inability to use any product, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our role is to assist with the warranty claim process and to help ensure that the manufacturer receives clear and accurate information.
