Modterra Home currently ships to residential and commercial addresses within the contiguous United States (48 states).

At this time, we do not ship to:

  • Alaska or Hawaii
  • U.S. territories
  • International destinations
  • P.O. Boxes or APO/FPO addresses

All orders ship from U.S.-based fulfillment warehouses.

Order Processing Time

  • Most in-stock items are processed within 1–3 business days after the order is placed.

Processing time is separate from transit time. Once your order leaves the warehouse, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking details.

30-Day Return Window

You may request a return within 30 days of the delivery date for most items.

  • Return requests must be submitted within 30 days of delivery.
  • Items must be unused, uninstalled, and in original packaging.
  • All components, hardware, manuals, and protective materials must be included.
  • Items must be in resellable condition with no signs of use, damage, or alteration.

How to Start a Return

Please do not send items back without approval. To begin a return:

  1. Contact us with your order number, item(s), and reason for the return.
  2. Our team will review your request and confirm eligibility.
  3. If approved, you will receive a Return Authorization with return instructions.
  4. Repackage the item securely in its original packaging and follow the provided instructions.

Returns sent without authorization may be refused or delayed.

Restocking Fees & Return Shipping

Because lighting products require careful handling and specialized packaging, the following terms apply to most standard (change-of-mind) returns:

  • 15% restocking fee applies to approved standard returns that are not due to damage, defect, or shipping error.
  • Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility for standard returns.
  • Shipping fees paid at checkout are non-refundable.

Any applicable fees will be clearly communicated before the return is finalized.

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
